My Brother Doesn’t Like to Share

by Bruce Lansky

My brother’s such a stingy kid.
He will not share his bike.
I ask if I can borrow it,
He says, “Go take a hike.”

He will not share his baseball
and he will not share his bat.
He will not share his catcher’s mitt.
He will not share his hat.

He will not share his fishing rod,
his bobbers, or his worms.
The only things my brother shares are
streptococcus germs.
