      Short Metaphorical Poem #1

My brother is like a spider monkey.
He jumps around the house like a spider monkey jumps around his cage.
My brother doesn’t say, “Ooh, ooh, ooh.”
Instead he yells, “Get out of my way or I’ll knock you down.”

Short Metaphorical Poem #2

My cousin is like a highway cop.
When we’re driving, she rolls down the window and yells, “Pull the vehicle over, I’m giving you a ticket,” to any car we drive by.

Short Metaphorical Poem #3

My brother is like a Saint Bernard.
He eats like a slob and leaves scraps of food and splashes of pop all over the floor.

Short Metaphorical Poem #4

My dog is like a cheetah.
When someone leaves the door open,
she springs out the door and runs down the street so fast, no one can catch her without a helicopter and a tranquilizer gun.
