A metaphorical poem:

 

Snow is Like Rain

 

Snow is like rain.

They both fall from the sky.

On a warm day, rain falls.

On a cold day, snow falls!

 

If you’re hot, snow can cool you off…

If you’re dry, rain can make you wet!

 

If it’s cold way up high in the sky, they both start out as snow.

But if it’s warm down here on Earth, they both wind up as rain!

 

The weatherman calls them both precipitation and measures them both in inches…

But I like snow better because you can make snowballs with it!

And I like rain better because you can jump in puddles!
