Fourth Round Finalists

Louise on Trapeze
There once was a girl called Louise
Who loved swinging on a trapeze.
She twirled and she flipped
She twisted and tripped
And landed with a great deal of ease.
—Ellie O’Halloran, 4th grade

7-Up
One day I drank 7-Up,
Like a dog I lapped it all up,
I said it was yummy,
And tickled my tummy,
And then I threw it all up.
—Shane Mason, 5th grade

Annie
There once was a cat named Annie,
Who did things that were uncanny.
She sat on the table
And found she was able
To sit right up there on her fanny!
—Mallory Gadye, 5th grade

Prince Charming
There was a young princess named Carrie
Who couldn’t find a young man to marry.
She put an ad on the Net,
And her dreams were all met
When her Net ad was answered by Harry.
—Brianne Urban, 3rd grade

Lady from Mars
There once was a lady from Mars
Who loved to eat chocolate bars
And when she ran out
She started to pout
And began to wish on the stars
