Rose with a Wart on the End of Her Nose

who had a wart at the end of her nose
When her wart was removed
Her nose improved,
But her glasses fell right to her toes.

There Was a Young Fellow Named Drake
There was a young fellow named Drake,
Who swallowed large portions of cake.
But one day he ate more
Than ever before
Since then he’s had a stomach ache.

Spanish Girl
There once was a girl from Spain
Who ran ‘round in the rain
She fell to the ground
While running around
And now she requires a cane.
—Amalie Sielaff, Grade 4

Angels
There were two little angels above
Who could fly on the wings of a dove
Floating on a cloud
They felt very proud
To be sending us down their love
